The Cloudspotters’ Cafe is monthly online gathering space. It’s a space for poetry, movement and the sharing of our experiences of chronic illness with others who get it. It is a space for softness and ease and no judgement. The format has evolved by our coming together, with generosity and group wisdom, and I thank everyone for their precious presence and contribution.

Our ambitions for the space are:

  1. Leave when you need to and don't feel bad about it (we all need to practice this!)

  2. Turn off your camera when you want to.

  3. Keep asking ourselves "Am i comfortable?" "Can I do what I need to do?"

  4. Visualisation and small movement is totally valid and celebrated in this space. And we are all master of moving in stillness.

  5. Please don’t offer unrequested advice or share your treatment unless invited by the group.

  6. Come to the part of the cafe that most supports you.
